BUTTONGRASS JADE® PENDANT. Tasmania. 5x20x27mm (J209)

We mine this colourful nephrite jade on the west coast of Tasmania. It is a tough gemstone taking a high polish. We have trade marked the name Buttongrass Jade which reflects the colour of the surrounding buttongrass plains - yellow,brown,orange and green.

This rectangular shaped pendant is translucent soft green. Some white crystalline tremolite can be seen.
