From his early years in Kempton, to his time in the Middle East and New Guinea as a young soldier in World War 2, and then his remaining time, mostly in Hobart, this book is about my father, Burnet Ellis (1920-2020).                                                                              Taken from his own  diaries and notes, these are his recollections written in his own words. Burnet, who lived to just over 100 years, was able to see the book before he died.
